Identified as one of the most outstanding philanthropist, Humanitarian and évangéliste: Germaine Hounsou Mama distinguished in the United States with her Foundation.

The merits of a Beninese compatriot have just been identified and recognized internationally. It is Germaine Hounsou Mama who has been distinguished in the United States for her humanitarian and philanthropist actions in favor of the needy. 

Identified as one of the most remarkable personalities of the year 2023 through her 18 years of charitable works, this philanthropist, humanitarian, and evangelist of Beninese origin was distinguished on March 10, 2023 by « Sica University and Seminary » in the United States.

It was during a very simple but symbolic ceremony which was attended by the President of the Beninese Alliance of NY NJ and CT, President Didier Padonou, the CB of the High Council of Beninese abroad section America and Caribbean Mr. Patrick Durand and the Vice President of the High Council on the World Dr. Dénis Atchadé Assongba Dit Dah Tovomandjehoungni. In total, three great prizes were awarded to Germaine Hounsou Mama.

The first prize, the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Prize, signed by the current President of the United States, Joe Biden, was awarded to Faragel 2005 Foundation, a 501c3 corporation for its humanitarian actions for the deprived children of Covè Zangnanado. The 2nd Prize is a Doctorate in Humane Letters awarded to the Founder of Faragel 2005 Foundation Germaine Hounsou Mama for her humanitarian and philanthropic actions. And the 3rd Prize was dedicated to her ministry of evangelization « Do Good  » whose actions are no longer to be demonstrated in Covè Zangnanado in the Republic of Benin. The ministry have distributed more than 2000 bibles since it création on 2005.

 

It should be recalled that the Faragel 2005 Foundation was created by Germaine Hounsou Mama as a non-profit organization that works for the welfare of men, women and children of Covè Zangnanado in Benin through education, Bible studies, financial and emotional support. The founder of this foundation was born and raised in Benin Republic, a small country located in West Africa. Honored by Sica University and Seminary, the founder of Faragel 2005 Foundation Corp. said she was pleased with this high distinction that encourages her to do better. « Thirty years ago, the needs of her children were my needs. Today with

the opportunities I have the best gift I can give my beloved hometown in Africa is to allocate resources that can help them timely, access the training, tools and skills they need to become competent, confident and self-reliant individuals, able to lead productive lives and grow in the divine faith, » she said.

The Faragel 2005 Foundation is today a 501c3 and a Presidential award winning Corporation.
